Originally, this layout was meant for my brother when he saw me extracting the main character. He told me, "Whatever you do with it, make it as my myspace." Usually my designs come out very crappy when I'm making a request but for some reason it turned out really well. There's five different versions of this layout (I've had trouble with the color scheme) and I decided with this one as the next version. It features most of the main characters of the video game The World Ends with You.
The lyrics I used is "Across the Universe" by the Beatles. I'm proud to say that it's one of the few layouts that feature a non Kingdom Hearts/ Final Fantasy theme. I must admit, the game is from the same creator of both KH and FF, but who cares? I just hope this layout will stay up for at least four months. Lately, none of my previous layouts lasted more than two months.
I don't remember every detail on how my website came to be but I do know one thing, it all began with
Neopets.
My html learning started when I made a guild based on Final Fantasy. (I later made a new account and made a guild based on CardCaptor Sakura).
I used premade layouts
but when I used the codes, Neopets wouldn't let me because they didn't allow certain codes on their website.
After trial and error I've began to understand how HTML worked. After a while I had a desire to make my own
layouts but of course
they were just pictures with a box slapped in the corner and that would be where my text would go. After many months, I've
downloaded free trials of PhotoShop 7.0. I've only known the basics but in time I slightly improved.
I then learned about
Freewebs.My first website was
Dark Depths (Yes, I was a very depressed child back then.)
It was a small graphic site that provided Neopets layouts and information about my guild. I soon learned about domains and that's how I
was hosted by
Mercury and I got my first sub-domain. After a year,
I stopped web designing and I came back since I missed it so much. That's when Twilight Dreams came.
It was opened on the 18th of March 2007, and hosted by
Cure. Twilight Dreams was later
renamed to
Nefarious Twilight since I've encountered many websites with the same site name.
